Revising a conference proceedings paper (from over a year ago...) and when I submitted it there were fewer than 8,500 Starlink satellites in orbit, out of about 12,500 total satellites.

Today there are 11,102 Starlinks out of 16,978 total active satellites. Fuck.

I just wrote and deleted a whole thing about keeping up and encouraging you to keep doing interviews.

Instead I think that you might want to think bigger and consider how to treat your research as marketing, because at some point the launch mogul techbros are going to start a media campaign against your efforts, if they haven't already.

As I see it, the only thing that will stop this are politicians or Kessler, and a public outcry is needed to push the former before the latter.
