Our last blog post is from spring, and many new features released since then ... we are just too busy working on new features, and maximizing chat resilienence in the face of broken single servers. There are btw minimum 600 #chatmail relays world-wide. How do we know? We are going to tell you when this kind of counting does not work anymore, in a few weeks :)

WE DO NOT (WANT OR NEED TO) KNOW WHO USES DELTA CHAT AND RUNS CHATMAIL RELAYS, but occasional encouraging feedback is welcome :)

Does the removal of the option to specify which folder to fetch DeltaChat messages from have to do something with this change? (I was silly enough to use my personal self-hosted email for DeltaChat, now I don't find the option to disable it and I keep receiving encrypted messages I can't open - plus the email rule that helped me move the encrypted chats to their own folder ceased working ever since)

there was a 7-month-old Claude commit for the android version, and i wanted to know if there was an anti-LLM/anti-AI policy for future updates/builds? Also are there forks of delta-chat that allows for disabling of sub-apps within the central app?

@bedhead Our stance on LLM-assisted contributions is part of our community guidelines: delta.chat/en/community-standards

To disable mini apps, simply don't start them, then their code will not be executed in any way. We recommend this for mini apps from untrusted contacts, as you also shouldn't click on phishy links or attachments.
