I wonder if there's a technical reason why #ClosedCaptions steer away from both onomatopoeia and emoji usage. Especially puzzling since 1. English has adopted majy onomatopoeic verbs (booming, screeching, whooshing, etc) and 2. emoji characters are now widely supported. #A11y
