Apparently, there's a very big difference between knowing what battles are lost and using that energy on a plan B (strategic, smart, forward-thinking) and warning others to do the same (demoralizing, fatalist, coward)
The difference, it seems, is that complaint without action breeds apathy - complaint with action, or at least a route to it, is obviously better received
