I've been talking to the same people on here for so many years that we, at least, acknowledge we've read the post, if mentioned in it.
My definition is when a whole bunch of people I do not know start boosting - you know, like eight of them maybe. ;-)

Whereas, when I was on Twitter a tweet needed thousands of RTs to be considered viral. And by viral I mean comparable to a raging case of the flu: impossible to avoid and possibly making me feel ill.
