Honestly at this point Hitler starts to look like better option than Trump. I mean choosing between two mentally I'll people is hard but at least Hitler is already dead.
Hitler didn't really have the "popular mandate", the last truly free election in Weimar Germany only got his party and allies enough votes to form a minority government. If he didn't turn it into a dictatorship, they would barely have been able to govern.
Pretty sure Trump got a higher proportion of votes, though it's a bit unclear how many votes were due to fraud. And obviously it's a first-past-the-post voting system, which discourages voting for less popular candidates/parties, in contrast to Weimar Germany's proportional representation.

Not really necessarily about votes, but rather that the hitler youth program netted him 8 million members of military aged young men. To out it into perspective this was 82% of the youth population between 10 and 18 in 1939 if you include the girl equivalent, which was called league of German girls.
Basically propaganda worked much better outside of the age of Information and these barely closeted Nazis like Elon Musk want to return to a similar rate of success with the information age, which is why AI sculpting seems to be always at the top of his mind.
Edit: This is mostly why I mentioned Bibi, because he's not really super popular either and elections are few and far between with constant war continuing the justification. The military indoctrination of young IOF soldiers is probably equally effective in controlling the populations views and keeping them at a peak bloodthirsty state against arabs.

I would say a dead hitler might be preferable tho. Trump surely ain't too far off
