FYI, Firefox has enabled the "Donate your body to fuel data centers" option to true by default, so if you want to opt-out, make so set this hidden flag to false every browser update.

browser.ml.donateFlesh = false

Alternative option, is there something I can introduce into my body that would crash their data centers when they try to use me to fuel them?

...maybe if I just have a surgeon wire a usb port to some nerves and periodically update the usb drive I plug into it with whatever the latest slop exploit is? โ€‹:bunhdthink:โ€‹

To be honest, the fact that Mozilla gives control over it instead of shoving it down our throats is a huge thing comparing to other corporations. And they are not sharing any private data to do so. Majority of models, including translations runs locally on your computer instead of sending the translation query to a remote server, so you are not donating anything.

With marketing and AI features, they are looking to be attractive to enterprise and investors as Firefox enters obscurity and AI is the only way in age of corporate AI psychosis. I am yet to see different ideas how to fuel Mozilla's income and reduce dependency on Google money, but all I hear is criticism.

I see ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with this! THANK YOU MOZILLA for giving me a option to turn it off! You are the CHAMPIONS of the open source after all so you can do WHATEVER you want and i think it should be ILLEGAL to critisize this! (Average firefox reddit community post)

The Linux kernel with help from the Linux Foundation and their partners like Microsoft, now has AI sockets where a person can connect directly to the Microsoft Borg โ˜ ๏ธ
