I have been (rightfully) told off by multiple managers due to my work/life balance - it sets a bad example for people just starting out in careers which I get, but when you enjoy your work it’s something fun to do in your “spare” time, and then you get into that habit even when it’s stuff you’re like “ugh” about.

Like, spend an entire page contemplating the letter “a” and you’ll build some new muscle memory.
