Skip steps if necessary. * Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”. * No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.). * Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback. * Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.

Anyway that doesn't matter that much neither of those are on current Id Software and frankly I'm a bit more fond of post Romero/Carrack Id Software (Q3/Live, QChampions, Doom Reboot)

eh not really much background, I just saw the q3 announcer xitter account and of course after moving from id sofware is an grifter ai bro trying to say old games were good because there wasn't "wokism", a shame because his voice is quite one of the best announcers of an arena shooter, guess gotta mod quake champions one instead

Team Fortress 2 comes close to that if you can ignore cosmetics. The gameplay still holds up today and its also fun to just join the Jump Academy and do some rocket jumping.

Anuway TF2 has some Quake on it but it's quite different of thearena shooter style I'm used to.

I've though about making my own arena shooter with blackjack and queer furries but seeing the little success of Reflex Arena and Diabotical kinda is too ambitious fot my own good
