main thing is, I type incredibly fast even after the stroke, but it just gets tiring interacting with stupids and I go to sleep.

@Elizafox i supposedly still have over 800 followers over there, but I assume most of them are zombie accounts now, since some of them date back to 2007 and haven't verifiably posted in over a decade. I drop in once in a while to post a link to Fedi and a short explanation.

@Remittancegirl An 86 year old composer I know who lives a solitary rural life, has used x-twitter for years as his main contact with people. Yesterday one of those Elon fanboy accounts took over the old fellow's account, locked him out, changed the name of the account, and started broadcasting spam to the old guy's contacts, who are a bunch of opera singers, musicologists and musicians.
X support told him "You can start a new account". Big help. He's lost his entire contact net.
