From the Wikipedia page on the World Sauna Championships, which exposed people to temperatures far lower than the above-advertised '500 Degrees Fahrenheit'.

Look at the newspaper article: lemmy.zip/post/68972958/28002374 edmonton was canada, and they didnt start using metric for temp until the 70's I think.
Also the wikipedia article says this as well. Its F!
