I'm French but now live with my family in England. I genuinely find the reputation of British food being bad to be completely false and most restaurants I've been to have been lovely. Would never tell anyone back home this though, they'd never forgive me.

I miss certain british foods so much, luckily a friend sent me a care package with a few things.
Very interesting fact, when I talk about Sunday Roast here in the midwest of America, many people grew up eating a similar meal but called it Midwestern Roast.
