Why do all these types so clearly need a lot of therapy? I'm certainly not the least bruised peach in the can, but I also don't go around pretending I've got it all figured out.
Some of these people are honestly certifiable, I mean that quite literally, and yet they're hugely influential.
Peterson needs to go live in a nice wood cabin by a lake somewhere, maybe write a bit of poetry, do a bit of yoga and meditation. He can easily afford it.
A lot of people who go into psychology do so because they know they are themselves fucked in the head, and are also basically fundamentally arrogant yet also insecure enough to think they can become an 'expert' on themself, and thus by proxy, everyone else.
A kind of psuedo self aware, authoritarian narcissism.
